The Federal Communications Commissions and journalism diversity

On June 2, 2003, the Federal Communications Commission voted to relax the nation’s broadcast ownership regulations. UNITY and its alliance partners have criticized the FCC for not seeking greater public input while crafting the new rules and for not sufficiently studying the impact any rule changes would have on journalism and communities of color.
